Zuii Blushes

Zuii offers 5 blushes and I have to say I was very impressed with the color range and texture. It’s fresh looking, the colours are modern and for a organic, mineral line they have really raised the bar. Pigmentation is decent, but I have to say it would fall more into the sheer category, but they are quite buildable without looking particularly powdery. I am pretty fair and found these blushes good enough, I tend to be heavy handed and many many times overdo blush, so this babies are just great for me.
Here’s the breakdown of the colours:
·        Melon
Melon is frosty peach with pink undertones and subtle gold shimmer. It is buildable but so is that gold finish, which can end up giving you a shimmery frosty cheek instead of a healthy flush of colour. I am sure on a tanned complexion however, it would look divine. This blush screams summer and sun to me.
·        Grapefruit
Grapefruit is a sort of coppery colour, with a hint of orange and really subtle shimmer. It would complement bronzed skin so so well and the texture is smooth and buttery.
·        Mango
Mango is the lightest of them all, a very sheer peachy colour, very whiteish  that would most probably work as a highlight colour or on very very pale complexions. It’s pretty cool toned and texture wise it’s very powdery.
·        Peach
Peach is a true peach blush. It has very little shimmer and good pigmentation, making it my sort of ideal blush, just perfect for that healthy looking check. The texture is ok, not too powdery or chalky.
·        Nector
Nector is a darker copperish blush, very matte and offers great pigmentation. It would be great for a darker complexions, but it wouldn’t really work as a bronzer due to the copperish undertones.
